There are two different types of RAM memory. RAM memory with error correction code (ECC memory) and RAM memory devoid of error correction code (non-ECC memory). Most servers use ECC memory as it comes along with an additional memory chip which assists protect against knowledge corruption by instantly detecting and correcting memory errors. Converse
